Special Victims Unit (SVU)
The Robeson County Sheriff’s Office Special Victims Unit (SVU) consist of a Social Worker and Investigator who advises victims of domestic violence about local and national resources that are available to assist them.
The Special Victims Unit consist of several resources to address the concerns of physical safety and welfare of individuals who are victims of domestic violence in Robeson County. The Special Victims Unit provides confidential services that educate, support, and guide victims and their families through the court process. The Special Victims Unit is responsible for processing and serving domestic violence protective orders and restraining orders. The Special Victims Unit also responds to and investigates domestic violence calls throughout Robeson County.
